Hello PMICOC Members,
As I reflect on the chapter’s accomplishments in 2022, I am beyond impressed. This year we saw a shift from a virtual environment, to more of a hybrid approach for our events. In April, our Outreach team held our first in-person chapter event since 2019, which highlighted the great work our volunteers have done for our non-profit partners. Our Programs team continued to do an amazing job lining up virtual sessions that offered PDUs throughout the year. In the fall we also held our annual Professional Development Day, in person at the convention center, which sold out!
Looking ahead, I am excited to serve on the PMICOC Board in 2023 as the past President. This will allow me to continue some initiatives, such as planning networking events and assisting with PDD for 2023. I will also have the opportunity to work with our incoming President, to ensure a seamless transition and provide support when needed. The success we have had as chapter is a result of the hard work of our volunteers, VLT and Board. I appreciate all the time and dedication they have shared with the chapter and encourage all of you to consider lending your time and expertise in 2023. We have volunteer positions available in Programs, Technology, Communications, Outreach, Member Services and Professional Development Day.
