This informative session will provide participants with the tools to:

1. Explore leadership skills that are essential for effective navigation and pivoting in the middle of a project.

2. Ensure successful completion of the project, while leveraging new skills and resources within the team.

3. Identify Self-Management Techniques for the leader, which are necessary for optimal leadership performance and maintenance.

Biography:

Charlene Free is an accomplished speaker and transformational leader, who has a passion for inspiring audiences.  She is the author of the curriculum for Cross Country Education, entitled, “Assessment and Treatment of Apraxia of Speech and Swallowing” and she presented it in various cities in every state, with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii (2007-2016) as a continuing education instructor, in her field of Speech Pathology and Audiology. 

Ms. Free demonstrated her proficiency as a public speaker, during her tenure as President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter, Columbus, OH (January 2019-December 2020).

She currently represents the organization, Lead With Purpose Academy, as its Chair of the Board of Directors, often speaking to the media and community leaders on behalf of the organization. 

Ms. Free is the facilitator of the series, “Mind Your Mind,” an online forum, which she created in May 2020. This series covers a myriad of topics pertaining to men, women, leaders, and couples to provoke thought, and provide inspiration, encouragement, growth, and mental health resources for leadership and daily living in a pandemic environment.

in 2022, she will have the honor of presenting in the Thursday Virtual Leadership Series for WELD (Women’s Economic Leadership Development, Columbus, OH Chapter). She is currently serving as the Director of Women’s Ministries and an associate minister at Gospel Lighthouse Church (2013-Present).
