About the event
Dr. Christopher Washington serves as the Provost for Franklin University. He is the recipient of numerous awards including eLearning! Magazine’s “eLearning! Champion” Award; Western Illinois University’s “Distinguished Alumni” Award; Pi Lambda Theta’s “Leadership in Education” Award; Ohio Magazine’s “Excellence in Education” Award, and the The Ohio State University 2021 College of Education and Human Ecology “Career Achievement” Award.
In this session, Dr. Washington will:
- Examine likely sources of organizational disruption in the coming years according the work of the World Economic Forum
- Share organizational and leadership insights from Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s “anti fragile” concept
- Compare and contrast PMBOK and Antifragile related skills and abilities
- Describe ways for project leaders to bridge the competence gap between the expert project manager mindset and skillset that aids in controlling resources to achieve project goals, and the Antifragile Leadership mindsets and skillsets capable of improving organizational results by evolving complex systems and transforming organizational cultures in response to randomness in the environment
