The PMI Central Ohio Chapter was established in 1975 as the 3rd PMI chapter. We serve a diverse community of over 1,800 members across Central Ohio and beyond, representing industries such as IT, healthcare, and education.
Our vision is to be a premier organization advancing project management practices within the business and educational community. We support members in achieving PMI certifications, promote professional development through training and knowledge sharing, and build awareness via outreach to corporations, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
With 70% of members holding a PMP® certification and steady membership growth, we continue to aim for fostering excellence in project management.

Community Contributions & Volunteer Corps
Our mission is to offer members of the chapter opportunities to make a positive impact in their local community through direct community contributions via donations and our Volunteer Corps. ​​ Both efforts will support PMICOC's vision in the Central Ohio Area PMI. The Central Ohio Chapter is developing project management programs with local colleges and universities. Student Membership is available for PMI.org and PMICOC.org.
Academic Outreach
These endeavors uphold PMICOC's vision for excellence within the Central Ohio Area PMI. Additionally, the chapter is actively collaborating with local colleges and universities to establish project management programs. Student Memberships are accessible through both PMI.org and PMICOC.org.
