A well established company in Columbus seeks an experienced Project Manager for a long term contract. This person will be a valuable team member and vital to the on-going success of the projects.
Essential Functions Include:
- Creates and executes project work plans, budgets, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Involved in managing vendor relations.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the infrastructure project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Qualifications Include:
- Experience with managing infrastructure projects.
- Confidence to meet with Executives to discuss projects during presale as well as engagements.
- Flexible, team player, experienced with managing people in a variety of project delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and over hours.
- Hardware and software deployment experience.
- PMP a HUGE plus!
