image_certificate.jpgPMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) certification provides recognition of an individual's ability to meet specified standards in the field of project management. The certification process involves meeting minimum education/experience criteria, an examination, and a comprehensive review of the candidate's qualifications in the areas of education and professional experience. Certification & Standards Brochure defines the certification process and candidates are encouraged to obtain the brochure and become familiar with the process prior to enrolling in the review seminar.



To help you pass this examination successfully, the PMI Central Ohio chapter offers PMP Exam Preparation seminars at PMI Central Ohio Chapter Suite 126/128. The objective of the seminars is to assist the candidate in preparing for the certification exam. The exam covers the knowledge areas defined in PMI's Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The seminar is intended to be a series of review sessions for the exam and is not an introductory course in project management. Candidates should have some experience in project management prior to attending the seminar.



All students will also receive a copy of the PMBOK and related reference material needed to complete the class and pass the exam. This is not an accelerated or advanced exam prep class. This class is structured as review of the information that students must know to pass the exam.



The seminar consists of ten - Monday evening sessions. Each session lasts from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Class sizes are limited to 15. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received in full. The first 15 people to pay in full will be confirmed for the class.
