You are cordially invited to join the Central Ohio PMOLIG, sponsored by the Central Ohio Chapter of PMI. The local interest group is a forum to address the program and project management office aspects of the project management profession. The group is open to anyone who is interested.
PMOLIG Mission:
The Project Management Office Local Interest Group will provide the local project and program management community with a forum for the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experiences in relation to the practice of the PMO and in doing so will support and compliment the initiatives of the PMI PMOLIG and the Local PMI Chapter. The PMOLIG will facilitate:- The sharing of knowledge and experience regarding PMO's including
- Offering/encouraging training opportunities for members
- Providing a forum for information exchange
- Establishing and maintaining a PMOLIG knowledge repository, in conjunction with the Chapter, that supports member interaction regarding topics of interest; best practices, white papers and other documents of interest; and a directory of resources
- The advance of PMO's in the Central Ohio area including
- The promotion of PMO's
- The fostering of a PMO Community
- Networking opportunities for participants including
- Meetings and speakers
- Internet communication between and among members
Benefits of Participation:
What you get is real-time access to local professionals dealing with similar problems who may have the solution you need. The group will focus heavily on solution sharing and knowledge transfer among members of our local community. The more you participate, the more benefits accrue. There are no membership fees for participating in the PMOLIG. There may be fees for specific events that will be detailed in the description of those events.
